Men's Health Initiative, Inc. has partnered with the Michigan Institute of Urology's Men's Health Foundation to observe BLUE MONDAY, the first Monday of Men's Health Week (June 15th). As we strive to improve the lives of men and boys in our communities, it is important that we all collectively bring attention to the many issues facing males in order to raise awareness, increase knowledge, and promote action.

What we are pledging to do for BLUE MONDAY is to encourage all to:

  1. Wear blue on that day to work, school. play, or anywhere. Encourage others to do so as well and tell those you come into contact that day why you are wearing blue.
  2. Take part in a healthy activity that day. Walk, run, bike, lift, meditate, think, fly, etc. Whatever is takes for you to get active and get healthy, that's what we encourage you to do on BLUE MONDAY, but also the rest of the month, year, and beyond.
  3. Donate to male health awareness organizations. You can either donate directly to MHI, Inc. through the TAKE ACTION tab in the menu above or click on the button below to see other organizations you can help support.
  4. Take part in our social media campaign to support the BLUE MONDAY cause. If you plan to take part in BLUE MONDAY, let us and the world know. Share your picture or story on the official Facebook site of BLUE MONDAY or tag it on Twitter and Instagram using #BlueMonday2015.
